Hi, my name is Ross A. Isaacs and I'm a game designer, freelance writer, and editor. I've worked for Chaosium, White Wolf, Holistic, AEG, Last Unicorn Games, Decipher, and Wizards of the Coast. I talk about game design here, from product concept to game mechanics to the nuts-and-bolts of writing. I offer my opinions on just about everything game-related.

I've been away for the past few weeks. I blame the holidays, and a minor emotional meltdown. But a few people have mentioned to me in the past few days that they'd been following my blog, and wanted more. Whore that I am, I shall continue with this series. I must review the past few entries to catch up to where I left off... then it's blog-rific.
Is there anything in particular you want to see? Some secret of the game design universe you want to know? Some matter you want me to address. By all means, let me know.
